On Sunday January 27th, we had a scare - Kai was admitted to the ER due to a mild seizure which was caused by excessive vomiting & diarrhea. He had to stay overnight at the hospital so that he'd be monitored and assisted with rehydration. Test results came back negative for rotavirus. Dr said the seizure could be due to dehydration & low glucose. We are so thankful for the doctors & nurses that helped Kai recover so quickly. Kai was in good spirits despite the trauma that he had been through (this photo was taken only four hours after he was admitted to the ER). Though the past 30 hours have been challenging and tiring, we realize that we cannot take anything we have for granted. We thank God for watching over Kai!

How scary! As parents we know how difficult it is to see our little ones suffer in any way. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Give Kai a big hug from us.
