Happy 2008!
We hope you had a happy & safe Christmas & New Year's celebration! We were sad not having the Colberts & the Higashis home for Christmas this year. We hope they had a great time creating their own family tradition. However, we were glad to have the Higashis & Uncle John home for the new year celebration! We started our new year off with Mom Matsuura's famous new year soup. It's a winner! We later met at Grannie's house for fireworks & her Zen Zai treat (Ono!). Kai also got to experience some fireworks after a couple hours of good sleep. We were back at Grannie's house again on New Year's day. We had our usual delicious lunch which lasted through dinner. The gang got to watch the UH Warriors playing against the Georgia Bulldogs at the BCS game. Although UH didn't play very well, the UH fans managed to stay awake through the whole game. They were happy that UH scored one touchdown.........
